Privacy Policy

How Clymb collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website and product.

Effective date: July 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Clymb("Clymb," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit useclymb.com, create an account, or use our product experience (together, the "Service"). The Service includes Mission Control, Files, Connections, onboarding, store and brand tools, billing, and related pages.

By using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning in our Terms of Service.

1. Who We Are

Clymb operates the Service at useclymb.com. For privacy requests, contact privacy@useclymb.com. For general support, contact support@useclymb.com.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • Visitors to our marketing site and public pages.
  • Users who create accounts or authenticate via email or social login.
  • Personal information processed when you use workspace features, connect third-party accounts, publish content, or purchase a plan.

This Policy does not cover third-party websites, apps, or services that you connect or visit through the Service. Those parties have their own privacy practices.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide

  • Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), profile details, and authentication identifiers.
  • Workspace and brand data: business name, niche, website, brand kit fields, preferences, and related setup inputs.
  • Content you submit: messages, documents, files, brand assets, product information, and other materials you upload or enter.
  • Support communications: messages you send to support and related correspondence.
  • Billing details: billing contact information and payment metadata processed by our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

3.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, timestamps, and approximate location derived from IP.
  • Usage data: feature interactions, session activity, performance diagnostics, and error logs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: as described in our Cookie Policy.

3.3 Information from third parties

  • Sign-in providers (for example Google or GitHub): account identifiers, name, email, and profile metadata you authorize.
  • Connected platforms (for example social or commerce accounts): tokens, account IDs, usernames, and metadata needed to perform actions you request.
  • Payment providers: subscription status, invoice identifiers, and payment outcome metadata.

4. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Create and authenticate accounts and secure access.
  • Personalize workspace outputs using the brand and business context you provide.
  • Process subscriptions, invoices, renewals, and customer billing requests.
  • Respond to support requests and send service-related notices.
  • Monitor reliability, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
  • Analyze product usage in aggregate or de-identified form to improve quality and performance.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and property of Clymb, our users, and others.
  • Send product updates or marketing communications where permitted. You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails.

5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK and Similar Regions)

Where required, we process personal information under these bases:

  • Contract: to provide the Service you request and manage your account.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, improve, and market the Service in ways that do not override your rights.
  • Consent: where required (for example certain cookies or optional marketing). You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: to meet tax, accounting, or other legal requirements.

6. Automated Processing and Generated Outputs

The Service uses third-party infrastructure and processing providers to understand your inputs and generate drafts, recommendations, and other outputs. Data sent to those providers is limited to what is needed to complete the request and operate the Service. We do not knowingly use your private workspace content to train public third-party systems unless a provider agreement expressly states otherwise and we disclose that practice.

You remain responsible for reviewing generated outputs before you publish, sell, or rely on them in your business.

7. How We Share Information

We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers that help us host, authenticate, process payments, send email, analyze usage, provide customer support, or deliver product features, under appropriate contractual safeguards.
  • Connected third-party platforms when you authorize an integration and request an action on that platform.
  • Professional advisors such as lawyers, auditors, or insurers when needed.
  • Authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not sell personal information for money.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential operation, preferences, analytics, and (where enabled) marketing measurement. Details are in our Cookie Policy. You can control cookies through your browser settings and any consent tools we provide.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type. When retention is no longer necessary, we delete or de-identify information, subject to technical and legal limits.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted transport, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@useclymb.com.

11. International Transfers

Clymb and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Export or receive a portable copy of certain information.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Appeal a decision about a privacy request where local law provides that right.

To exercise these rights, email privacy@useclymb.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

13. U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

Residents of certain U.S. states (including California) may have additional rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information as "sale" is commonly defined under those laws, and we do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we disclose that practice and provide an opt-out. To submit a request, contact privacy@useclymb.com.

14. Children

The Service is intended for business use by adults. It is not directed to children under 16 (or the higher age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

15. Third-Party Links and Integrations

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after an update becomes effective means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
